Chris made a good case for his business plan. It was a unique venture and he had done the research and had a balance sheet with estimates of costs and labor and how much money he would need to have in start up cash and when he could reasonably expect to need to hire additional workers. He had prepared this presentation in the most professional way he knew how; he had even gotten help on the charts so that it looked nice. He didn’t know why everyone was fighting back giggles. What was so funny about “We are the odd experts”? What else was he supposed to call his handyman services business? He thought for a minute and wondered if he should speak to the supervisor about the unprofessional giggles and snorts, but then it wouldn’t be very professional of him to do point that out. He just didn’t mention it.
